Myrtle Beach is a shoppers delight and is perfect for locals and vacationing families and friends who enjoy a variety of shopping centers, factory outlets, beachwear and specialty shops with the latest fashions, trends, and casual leisure-style clothing.

For those unfamiliar with Myrtle Beach, there are three famous shopping centers you definitely want to check out the next time you travel to the area: There's Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, and the new Coastal Grand Mall at Highways 17 and 501 in Myrtle Beach.

In addition, other good shopping centers and factory outlet centers are The Market Common, Myrtle Beach Mall (formerly both Colonial Mall and Briarcliffe Mall), Tanger Outlets on Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach and Highway 501 in Myrtle Beach, and the Inlet Square Mall.

Fun for the whole family

People living in Myrtle Beach and those who visit often know how unique a few of our shopping and entertainment complexes are. Most noteably, Broadway and the Beach and Barefoot Landing.

These two places are positively delightful in that they offer something for the entire family. You can spend an entire day at either one of them, and in that time family members may be entertained, fed, and educated about wildlife or sea life. These are both do-not-miss places during any visit to the Grand Strand.

Whether you want a designer gown or bargain beachwear, there's no shortage of places to shop on the Grand Strand. Although the landscape of Myrtle Beach has changed and Myrtle Square Mall has closed, new stores and malls continue to open. A favorite of both locals and visitors is the relatively new Coastal Grand Mall, and soon there'll be another shopping center near Carolina Forest as well as Barefoot Commons (at the site of the former Grand Prix Family Fun Park) in North Myrtle Beach.
